One of the most difficult things for people to do is to see themselves as a manager of their own journey.

If you actively look for the distinction between the role of designer or manager and employee or actor, you can redesign your path.

Most people operate on a moment to moment emotional level, satisfying their life in a series of undirected and disappointing gratifications from a base level, leaping from one event to the next. If you would like to enjoy the memory of your life and feel proud of the achievements that you pursued, you need to operate from a different place.

My Experience

From an early age I felt like I was locked in a place inside my head. I’ve spent much of my time trying to gain control over a part of my psyche that is constantly being distracted. I eventually learned that this is because I have ADHD.

Coming from this place, I am not trying to preach. It’s just that I understand what it's like to have a lot of motivation every day, yet still, be perpetually frustrated as each night laid down would feel just as close to my goals as I was the previous night.
